How to read the catalogue

What you are looking at.

  1. 01

    Healed, not fresh

One piece here is published twice: once with the skin still red at the end of the session, once after it settled. The healed frame carries a tag. Every other frame is simply the photograph that exists, and the page does not claim a healing result it has not photographed.
  2. 02

The same piece, more than once

Several frames are second angles or closer crops of one tattoo, and the caption says so. A chest piece with four frames is one tattoo photographed four times, not four projects — the count beside the heading counts pieces, not pictures.
  3. 03

    Placement is not decoration

Scalp, chest, forearm and upper arm are printed on every card because placement decides composition before style does. A design that works flat on paper is a different project once it has to wrap.
  4. 04

    Flash and stencils are labelled

Flash sheets and stencil transfers sit in their own section rather than mixed in as finished tattoos. A stencil is where a piece starts; it is not a picture of the result, and it is never passed off as one.
