Biomechanical turbine

Biomechanical work is an engineering drawing that has to obey a body. The turbine is built to sit on the shoulder's own structure, so the metal reads as though the arm was built around it.

Work at this scale is scoped as a whole and then built in panels. The consultation fixed the flow first — where the piece wraps, where it breaks at the shoulder, and which passages carry the weight — because large work built panel-by-panel without that map ends up as a collection rather than one piece.

Black and gray throughout. The contrast range is deliberately wide so the piece still separates at arm's length once it has settled; biomech relies on the eye reading depth, and depth is the first thing that flattens if the value range is timid.

A second frame showing the full arm is published alongside the shoulder plate, because a piece that wraps cannot be judged from one angle.
