Provenance
1 resolvedTattooing 101
Professional tattoo-education page. The densest composition source found, and the only one in this batch that supplies a QUANTIFIED rule: “A good rule of thumb is to leave a skin break big enough that it could be shaded with a 7 mag.” It names the reserved-skin idea with a trade term - “A “skin break” is just part of the design where there is no ink.” - grounds it in ageing rather than taste - “Ink expands under the skin , and after a few years, any lines you tattooed will be thicker.” - states a layering rule with its own exceptions, and states the only orientation rule found anywhere in this batch. IMPORTANT LIMIT: Tier 2 trade education selling a paid course; it supplies craft guidance and no historical or cultural claim. Its paragraph on Japanese tattooing was NOT used.
